 Taken on our way home from a Sunday outing, late in the afternoon. This is when kangaroos start to come out to feed and we saw four different mobs of them. This lot were the closest. There were about 8 kangaroos in this mob, but spread out too much to get a neat shot of all of them.
I've toned down the reddish yellow light a little, sharpened, cropped, and moved the right hand kangaroo a little closer to the others.

Nice light, and great choice of subject -- really exotic for those of us in the northern hemisphere who only see kangaroos in zoos. :)

So, is a group of kangaroos really called a mob?? Fun to see what's happening on the other side of the world from me. Nice!

I can't imagine jsut seeing them on a drive home. Great subject. Love that they are all doing something a little bit different from each other.
