See the spider webs? Not sure if there is enough detail to them, but I thought it made the flower look a little creepy. The ultimate trap, a beautiful flower with a spider inside waiting for dinner. So my overlay (again from photomorphix) needed a little creepiness to it.

This almost has a 3D quality to it. Wonderful depth and contrast.

I love that little hint of steps and door in the background, makes this feel kinda goth to me :-) Or maybe something from the little shop of horrors?? Nicely done!

Not only do I see the spider webs, I see the little buggies. Nice processing.

Very neat color combination. Checked out photomorphix. They got soo much to use. I like the way you enhanced the webs with the creepy background. Creates quite a tension between beauty and profane.

Ooh, this has an out of this realm quality. I'm commenting before reading your description. I do that sometimes so that my first reaction isn't jaded. I immediately think of something like Camelot for some reason and this flower has magic powers. Maybe Merlin has cast a spell upon it. I love the background/layering. Oh.. read the comment and I just spotted the spider web. :~)
