 My son Shane designed and made these gauntlets in high school and he is wearing them here although they are now a pretty tight fit. He had black cloth draped over him. The overlay is from an ornamental box, converted to gray scale.

Cool...hey I have the same little silver cups (my parrot used to like to stick his head in inside and race around the floor...pretty funny). Anyway, sorry I digress, nice work!

very well done...I think of French knights in shining armor...really nice...gave me an idea of a shot that I have to make it into an overlay...I think it would wk well...you go girl!!

Your son made these?? WOW! I'm impressed, both by his artistry and yours :-) This is a very cool image, love the crossed hands seemingly floating in the darkness. What a way to start!!

I immediately think of the Tin Man in the Wizard of Oz. I adore that fleur de lis pattern. I can't believe he made those!!!!

The fleur-de-lys works very well indeed in conjunction with the main subject giving it a good authentic "oldie worldie" feel
