Thanks for the nice comments so far. I worked on a different version on which I sharpened the subject before resizing, some of the halo it's cause by the white hairs these flowers have, and since the light was coming from behind them is more evident.

let me know what you guys think

I think the flower on the left needs to be more in focus, maybe cut the spent flowers off. JMO! Nice shot.

I like to see the odd flower, not your usual showy pansy or daffodil or tulip. I always wish the illustratitons in the field guides would be as good as the ones here. I llike the informality of this shot, the nicely done BG, & of course those little white hairs.

Nice image - and I se the dilemma you have with the halo / hairs appearance. I don't think it leaves you with much room for fixing the appearance.

Those are some of the most unusual flowers I have ever seen... nice colors!

Vibrant colors and good crop. I wish the left flower was a bit more in focus. Good shot

It looks like flowers bursting out of blueberries! LOL! Quite unusual, I've never seen these before!

Excellent colours and such a pretty flower. A tad oversharpened but not too bad.

YES- gorgeous - I don't know what they are either - maybe a bit too much sharpening- ??? A very pleasing composition !

Sweet flowers - totally unfamiliar to me. I love their colour.

Wow, that is cool how this choice of subject contrasts the before and after of the flowering process. It appears that the shot is a tad oversharpened. The is evident with the haloing around the lower right purple bloom and the detail in the shaft of the same flower.
