 Taken at the Columbus Zoo in Ohio. This Orangutan had no problem posing for a picture. All I did was some cropping and slight unsharp mask.

Every time an image of one of these great apes is presented, one had to wonder what they are thinking. A great close in image, it appears to be a little over exposed resulting in a loss of the natural orange color. From a technical stanpoint, it is richly detailed, properly focused portrait. The artistic impact is good, just not as powerful as it could be. Worthy entry into the challenge.
