 This was my first time visiting the Grand Canyon. Definitely not my favorite shot of the day, but the best one with a tree.

It may be just me, but I'd prefer to see at least the tree crown against the sky... - as it is, the tree is lost in the details of the canyon. Great spot.

Really great picture. My eyes went straight to the tree. I had to really look at the image to realize that the Grand Canyon is the background. Great Job.

Please read Photoshop LAB Color by Dan Margulis. You will be amazed what you will do in LAB with this pic. Excellent work in any case. 8

I love the composition. I wish you would have done something to bring more attention onto the tree as my eyes naturally want to look at the depths of the canyon instead. 8
