 I'm not expecting a great score but was interested to depict a banana without it actually being yellow.

I was racking my brain for something for this challenge.

We were in the back garden having a BBQ when I thought of putting a banana on the grill and photographing it.

It was rubbish.

What the hell I thought. I dowsed the banana in Lighter Fluid and set it alight.



Photoshop adjustments

Cropped, resized
Desaturation of yellow and green to make it black and white apart from the flames.
Liberal use of the burn tool to darken the dirty concrete on which the image was taken.

Different at least! However, there seems little point, message, artistic intent with the shot to make it hangable for me.
