Thank you all for your comments. I did indeed intend such an harsh angle.
It is indeed a 3 image HDR

[quote=benee] Honestly, I'm not a huge fan of the tilted horizon here. But - Kudos to you for taking a risk here (going out on a limb, so to speak)! Love the colors (is this HDR) [/quote

I feel the rotation of this image significantly takes away from it.

i think the rotation takes away from the shot... if it was upright and the crop was still offset, then it would be a better presentation. but i love the the lighting and and the serenity of the shot. good job!

IMO the tilted perspective has taken away from what is (when viewed correctly) a stunning image. On this occasion I do not feel that the tilt adds anything and indeed distracts the viewer somewhat.

Unique perspective. I'm not sure I like the angle or not, can't decide. But I do like the gentle colors and the clouds in the sky.

Tilted a little too far. I feel like Im gonna fall over. Other than that, its a nice shot.

The angle lowered my score, but a VERY well done picture

Great shot. Why so crooked? My neck hurts:)

Excellent colors. I don't really care for the angle though.

Curious angle but I like it. Good photo and title. My eye was drawn to the tree top foliage.

Your lake will run out of water. Nice trees, but I don't fancy your angle.

I like the polarizing filter's effect on the sky, but wouldn't have tilted it quite so much myself. What's the weird flat-topped tree in the background? The trunk is so straight, it looks like one of those disguised cell-phone towers.

At first I found the steep angle a bit much but I must admit that my first impression with the colors and textures was, "Wow!" I wondered if the angle actually made the photo less interesting but as I stare at it with my neck bent out of shape, I think you might have actually improved an otherwise average scene. It certainly made me think about my vote. Too bad about the fencing up on the hill or whatever it is. Good luck!
