| A very good action capture with rich detail. The slightly over done white blooms are a negative, but this is well balanced by a very effective vaguely detailed background demonstrating the use of bokeh to increase the impact of the insect. Originally rated a 6, this has been rerated to an 8 for it's artistic impression. |

As I am allergic to bees, I have a hatred of them........fortunately I am only commenting, and not voting on the images.
Very shallow DOF on this, which has worked well, however it would have been so much beter if the bee was flying towards you |

| My yard is full of these little guys, hovering near their nests in my fence. Nice balance of detail and motion blur. |
