Okay, now I recall. I liked this an awful lot but wanted a bit less blurring and yes, a less tight crop. You've achieved that and more with the second version. I'm so glad you continued with this idea. I gave this one a five, BTW. Pretty high for me in this challenge. :D |

This was one of my only 10's. I'm shocked that it didn't do better. Please make a print available, I'd love this on my wall. |

First thoughts on this was is that a wilting dandelion? Then at second glance the bananas become obvious. I think that the slow shutter speed you used to create such blurring was just too much. I would have liked to have seen some movement in it but also been able to clearly make out a banana. |

The only reason I don't give this a 1 is because I think I see some bananas. Out of focus and I have no idea what this is a picture of.....2 |

Mysterious. the blurring works well for the feeling of your image. |

When I first saw this I didn't like it much at all...too blurry, blah, blah, blah...but it keeps catching my eye, and I find that every time I look at it again it jumps up a point. The more I look at it I see more of a painting quality to it. good job... |

This was a really nice and unique idea for this challenge. I think the blurring is a bit excessive for this shot since there's no real action to accompany it, but it still came out pretty well. Good job! |

Positively gorgeous abstract. Looks like an old world painting. 10 |

Sorry, but this is actually quite an unappealing image. It's a nice idea but the brown under the banana skirt is off-putting. |

Very original, and the motion blur seems appropriate. You might try adding either more contrast, or simply beefing up the yellow here. Nice work. |

I like it. But I think I'd prefer soft focus to motion blur. |

Don't know how many people will know the divine Miss Baker, but you nailed the shot for those of us that know. |

A skirt made out of banana peels? Not sure I like the use of blurr. Interesting concept. |

Good idea, but maybe too blurred? Would have like to see in one exposure a frozen image from flash *and* the blur from slow shutter. |

Just because it was done intentionally, doesn't make it a picture that I really want to look at. |

I don't really see this shot, I guess. Some sort of hula skirt, perhaps? |
