Around 50 police officers wearing riot uniforms broke their way into an abandoned building that had been overtaken by squatters in central Reykjavík last week, arresting some of the people who were living there. A number of people had taken up illegal residence in the building and refused to leave. That policeman was giving order to arrest the squatters in front of a photo studio window where this beautiful child image was on display. One might say the police behaviour was childish.

Good, funny candid. I wish it didn't have the diagonal line. You probably could remove it by slicing off the right side of the photo and not lose the impact. In fact, a less-centered subject might improve composition. Nevertheless a great catch.

In the ratings pass, this reviewer was uncomfortable rating this image - there are several levels of impact here which change every time it's viewed. After six views and a close inspection of the image, this reviewer has to rerate it from a 6 to a 9 because it has incredible impact - the juxtaposition of child and adult is creative and a great capture. The intensity on the face of the (assumed) police officer as compared to the open honest of the child is very effective. While not exactly a ribbon contender, this should place well in the challenge.

It seems you are not following the British Rule not to capture the police force!
