good framing, but his skin seem a little overexposed...
I'm also intrigated with the focus,,, it seems to be behind him, but im not sure...

Good background, nice uncomplicated greys. The composition here is good apart from cutting off the bottom of the subject's arm slightly.

The sense of "moment" is present in this image and the obvious character being captured is intent on what ever is on the page. Technically and artistically, it seems a little dull which may be the lighting conditions in addition to the rather soft focus and pale features of the subject. A good entry into the challenge.

great moody piece. Totally love the lighting. Even the lack of focus on the face doesn't bother me too much. Your focus ended up on his arm. I think you could have blurred that some so that eyes focus on the face first.
