| Good background, nice uncomplicated greys. The composition here is good apart from cutting off the bottom of the subject's arm slightly. |

| The sense of "moment" is present in this image and the obvious character being captured is intent on what ever is on the page. Technically and artistically, it seems a little dull which may be the lighting conditions in addition to the rather soft focus and pale features of the subject. A good entry into the challenge. |

| great moody piece. Totally love the lighting. Even the lack of focus on the face doesn't bother me too much. Your focus ended up on his arm. I think you could have blurred that some so that eyes focus on the face first. |
