This is a great image - can't really imagine why the voting ended up the way it did. It really seems to capture the last of winter and the promise of spring.
A good solid image that is properly framed and composed but suffers from soft focus and uncertain detail and lighting.. From an artistic standpoint, it is an intersting image but of less than universal appeal. A good entry into the challenge.
