Sometimes images appear in which the author attempts to being a lot of drama, action and impact to an image rather than let it develop naturally in an attempt to compensate for percieved faults. In this case, the image is taller than necessary to have a lot of true visual impact. Curiously, if the water is cropped out of the image, it instantly becomes a much more effective presentation in particular with the flat, dull sky which comes across as menacing. A little more thought and this would have been a very effective image. |
