 This pretty flower had started to wilt, so I was about to remove it from the bouquet of assorted flowers it had come in and toss it out. Then I noticed that it looked quite lovely with its curling under leaves, so I took some pictures of it before dispatching it to the garbage.

This has a sad edge to it. I love the rich deep magenta tone against the black background. The sideways angle is a nice change.
