 Cape Robin Chat - South African Bird of the Year 2009

These little guys are very busy and this was a very lucky shot for me- they are common in gardens, but very skittish and almost always hop around in the grass where they are impossible to photograph well.

They eat insects, spiders and other invertebrates, small frogs, lizards and some fruit (in our garden they mostly eat insects though)
