 I put blue tissue between two sheets of glass. I glued the egg shell on glass with wax. Underneath the glass I used a work light, and light on the side I covered with blue tissue.

Another use of lighting that marginally meets the challenge - subtle and very effective, it's a hard one to rate as this image would do well in any sort of minimalist challenge or competition. A good effort just missing the mark in terms of creativity. It might have been better if the author had concentrated on the reflection rather than the egg.

Love this. Simple and powerful. Perhaps a touch too yellow on the egg, but love the reflection, and the texture under the surface.
