Less than a creative use of lighting. It's hard to rate this because of it's nature. As an entry into a different challenge, this would be a difficult image to beat given it's gentle and soft, yet detailed appearance. The author might have done better to use some backlight to create other effects.

Cute!

Looks slightly oversharpened on the front dogs face but I bet this scores well on the cute factor alone :)
