Captured with my Quaker Oats box pinhole camera.

Nothing profund here -- just a tree. What can I say? I still find trees intriguing. Had I gotten closer to this one, I think the curved focal plane effect would have been more pronounced.

This was shot in a nearby cemetery just before dusk. It's a little soft as it was breezy. Also, about 30 seconds into the exposure, some clouds drifted in front of the sun, so that threw me off. Only PP was a levels adjustment in PSP X2.

This oatmeal box really does impress me....well actually your shots really impress me but I'm just surprised at the quality of the shots from this simple camera. Even more surprising is the distortion they have, very intriguing. The angle you used really emphasizes the imposing character of the tree, well done!

That curved focal plane really will do wonders for the radiating branches - I like the perspective you chose, really gets across that towering height.

I like the curve and echo André's idea to use a wider piece of paper, maybe even wrap it around (almost) the entire inside circumference of the oatmeal box. Easy for me to say.

Your oatmeal box camera undoubtedly is a lot of fun. I like this image, and also the info background from the link in your notes - which has the entire process of making the camera and use of paper film.
The process appears it lends itself to some experimentation with paper film size. I am thinking the edges are cut off a bit, a larger square format "film" may allow to include the full format of the "lens" to include more of the glorious falloff and distortion at the edges.
