 One of my favorite places to take sunsets, though the light wasn't exactly what I was wanting. The sun had gone behind the clouds while earlier it was highlighting the clouds wonderfully.

Opened two copies in Raw - one for sky, one for foreground - and blended together, levels, b&w conversion in cs4, curves, levels again, brightness/contrast, added two texture layers.

I love a good cloudscape... and this one is very good. The image might be just a tad too dark, but this give it a feeling of an impeding doom. Nice.

Wild west of old! It's probably an illusion, but it almost looks like a crater lake in the center.

Makes me think of an old tintype. Like an illustration in a book you'd find in an antique book store. :~) NICE!
