IMHO the dark areas around the image helps frame it. The hotspots on the rocks aren't as distracting as I look at the images again. I also like the fact that the water is not portrayed as smooth and silky. Mother Nature's true power is unleashed in this image due to your capture of the water :) Great shot!

true, some darkening of the rocks in the lower right might benefit here (although I wonder if that's possible, as it looks like some of them are completely blown out). i like the choice here to freeze the water, rather than applying a long exposure. not only because it prevents the model from becoming blurred, but it also depicts an 'exact' moment in time. if you had motion blurred it, it would convey a very different message.. motion blurring water is over-rated!

I like how you included someone in the shot to give perspective and sense of size. I agree, white rocks are a little distracting.
