| a 2 for meeting the challenge in terms of subject has texture , picture does not hold any interest for the viewer and also looks a little washed out |

| it meets the challenge, but there doesn't seem to be much more to it than that. maybe this item is special in some way, but i don't get that feeling from the photograph |

| A good abstract containg various elements of texture and color. The odd lighting helps the image, but would have been more effective if the darker circle surrounding the central area had been carried through to the bottom of the image. An appearance of a sharp image with soft focus which is interesting. A good solid effort at examining texture and color. |
