 This should have been titled "Well Played" as these are 50 year old piano hymnals that belonged to my grandmother. I can still see her at the piano playing and singing.

To me, this is a great example of photography and is one of the better photos of the challenge. I certainly see 'texture' but not 100%. As is, I'll go with a 9.

The use of grayscale to demonstrate the textures of well worn books is very inventive and works well. Very different textures from top to bottom - artistic presenting a very pleasing aesthetic impression. The top and bottom framing enhance the overall impression positively. Well done - a contender for sure.
