 This eerie door lies within Singapore's Haw Par Villa. A semi-decrepit 'amusement park', it's not really the kind of place you take the kids for a good time.
The whole park is little more than one man's incarnation of hell, in all its forms and for every variety of sinner.
Thousands of garishly-painted statues, spread across several acres, inflict all sorts of cruel punishment and torture on each other. None of them are more graphic than in the Ten Courts of Hell.
Coincidentally, the park was opened in the same year as H.P. Lovecraft's death.

Elegant and simple, the angled door with both smooth and rough texture along with the door knockers work very well. An above average entry in the challenge well constructed and composed. Well done.
