I shot this at my desk, using my computer monitor for a background. The tulip is in a glass, and I shot this with my 5D and Canon 24-70 f2.8L lens. My studio lights are at the studio (can you imagine?) so I had to figure out how to light this using my 580EX Flash. Since it was basic editing, I had to get it right. I made a big softbox on the 580EX using three sheets of white copy paper. I had to set up some cardboard to block the flash from hitting the screen and causing glare on the background image. A composite image that is ineffective, manufactured and unnatural. As a political themed image it might work, but as a image of natural flora, it fails.
Some of you guys make it looks so easy. Do you know when you enter this that it will be hard to beat?
Alright so anyway...great shot, if not a little cocky with the skills you posess. Color-fantastic, composition-solid, mood-A+...is there one reason whatsoever I shouldn't vote this a 10?, not really, but I'm given ya an 8 till the end, and I'll see how ya stand up amongst the crowd. Great job.\
