The frame is a negative for me - its meaningless in context and does nothing for the eye to help appreciate the image. Its a major flaw for me and in my opinion lowers what otherwise would have been a 9 to a 6 in terms of visual impact. Technically it is a wonderful blend of detail and color - the frame had influenced my opinion significantly. Sorry.
