Very nice- I know how long this shot was and you did well to get so much detail at such a distance! Very nice. Oh, did I say that already? I like how he looks a little purple. |

Nice capture, though I agree, it's a little soft, motion blur I'm guessing given the super long lens you were using! (I'm just jealous I don't have one like it :) |

I'm learning a lot about birds here. Wonderful bird. The photo could use some more sharpness, but I guess they're hard to capture. |

They are HUGE! It just fascinates me that birds can go miles and miles to who knows where during the winter, and come back to the exact same place the next spring. Maybe before we're thru, you will show us some of this fellow's baby birds ??? |
