This was taken with my 50mm 1.8 wide open and reversed on the end of my 28-105mm. I took a whole lot of shots of this little fella that day (see my fauna shot too), and this was the best DOF I managed to achieve, I think mainly because he was further away than my other shots (but the vignetting was a shocker!).

I have really found an affinity with these little guys over the past couple of weeks. They are really friendly little guys. The are only 5mm long (can't be bothered converting, but that's really very small).

Thanks for the votes- I'm really hoping to break a 6 in a FS for the first time.

Oh, I hate spiders...this one has a friendly face with all those eyes, but I still find them creepy...superb image...my only gripe is the vignetting. it works OK, but it seems to cage the spider in a little...depth of field is great

lord that gives me the willies...this is why I HATE spiders...but your shot is very good, excellent detail..right down to the 900 eyes...yuck...
