Megan came to me for nice photos of herself for her husband in Iraq and it turned out to be wonderfully fun. It was very moving to witness her love for her husband.
This was lit with a window in a black room so it really isolated the brightly lit parts of her which is an effect I really liked. It didn't take any photoshop to create the blackness around her. Photoshopping was minimal, bw conversion and cloning out of stray hairs and blemishes.
