Taken at recent cheerleading competition. PP with PSPXI includes crop, DNR, adjustment layers brightness/contrast, levels, and colour balance; resized, add borders. Probably should have given it a fancier title like "out of the flames" or "angel wings" but I figure people see what they want to see in an abstract anyway.

I'm not expecting a very good score on this as there is a fair bit of noise in the background but I still like the shot and figure what the heck!

Post-challenge: Thanks for your comments. I ended up with about the score I expected but it is nice to see that at least a couple of other people seem to like it.

I'm not sure I get this one. But, in fairness, maybe it's me.
And if I don't get it, it has to be an abstract. he he he

More motion blur than abstract for my taste. However, I do like the dof and contrast. Good luck.

I don't mean to be mean, but why bother submitting this? Ill concieved, grainy and totally devoid of any interest.

Great job capturing motion! I would like to see a tighter crop, the two vertical lines on the right are kind of distracting to me.

This looks like a flame with the image of a face in it, very interesting

Intriguing photo. The face makes it other-worldly.

At first I thought it was an angel spreading her wings. Nice background.

There's motion and there's abstract, but it doesn't really WOW me
