Since she was underneath the playground equipment, I asked her to stay as still as she possibly could because I was using a really slow shutter speed handheld. This is the pose she chose. For kids, I usually keep the photos in color, but her expression fit better in black and white, I think.

I was going to say the exact same thing that you did in your comments about using black and white. The b&w really does work with the expression she gave you. I wish the focus on her eyes were a bit stronger, but like you said, slow shutter speed, handheld and she's a kid!! ;)
