you've got the motion, but I'm not sure its abstract enough, or perhaps the movement needed to take up a larger portion of the photo

You'll probably disagree with me too, but while time itself is abstract, your photo isn't. It just shows a sharp image of a clock.

Definition of abstract: art in which the subject is represented by shapes and patterns rather than by a realistic likeness.

The first minimalist motion abstract I've seen that is almost perfect. Unfortunately, the streaking of the of the white background face is distracting and detract from the image overall.

Sorry to say but this is not abstract, to me, at all. I see the motion of the second hand but the picture, as a whole, really does not meet the challenge description.
