 Nice hike to get to this scene. Note to self... when hiking to somewhere that has a washed out bridge that requires a stream to be forged, don't bring a dog that is afraid of the water and requires carrying.

Editing: White Balance, Crop, straighten, contrast, exposure, sharpen, saturation, save for web

Phew... I'm so thankful this challenge is over. I am new to DP and TOTALLY missed the concept of this challenge. I thought the MOTION was supposed to be abstract, and not the rest of the scene. After looking at the first couple of entries, I realized that I had blundered badly. Thanks for all the comments and for being gentle on me!

Very nicely done motion and exposure but this is not an abstract,IMHO.

I know it's a matter of opinion but this is not very abstract. However, I do think it is an amazing shot.

I wish you'd cropped this in to make it more abstract, you would have scored higher with most people. But its a beautiful image

Since most waterfall pictures are blurred slow motion, this seems more realistic than abstract to me. Sorry--very nice picture, though.

Nice shot of a waterfall. I dont know what lens you used but maybe used a zoom lens to bring it in tight then zoom it out to give it more motion JMO.

Definition of abstract is: art in which the subject is represented by shapes and patterns rather than by a realistic likeness.

Not abstract enough for my taste, it looks more like a stopped motion.
