 While out shooting tonight's ISS transit, I decided to drive up the road just a bit further to the local ethanol plant for a shot at the 1-Second Exposure challenge. I shot wide, but had a tough time with a lot of lens flare. After swapping to the 70-200L, and dialing it in a bit, I finally had something I'm pretty happy with. I ended up running at ISO 200 to try and stop the aperture down just a bit to help enhance the star flare on the lights.

I like it, but we'll see how it does...

Processing is minimal - no color or contrast adjustments. I cloned out a star blur, then resized, sharpened slightly, bordered, and then ready to submit.

This is a very interesting photograph, probably because it has a strange Space Station feel to it. Isolated by the darkness, I guess. I've tried a few similar night-time shots myself, and never managed this kind of superb result. 8.
