 I have almost no clue as to what this is, except that it is an antique piece of photography gear. I bought it out of the dollar bin from a vendor at a camera swap meet recently. She says she inherited it from her late father, and it was in with lots of other photographic gear.

Pre-challenge notes:
Not really caring what score I get out of this, though I feel that I did some decent museum-style photography of this and think it's at least worth a low 5. My main reason for entering it in this challenge is the hope that someone will recognize it and tell me what it is.

Possible critiques include some banding or haloing in the blue background, and just being an overall boring shot.

Post challenge notes:
Got the expected comments that it is plain and boring. Still fell well away from brown territory. Nobody knew what is is though.

Yeah I got some of those. What I don't understand is why my wife wants me to throw them out.

Liked the colors. Could have used a little more light on the front of the tub.

looks like a stock photo lacks some of the creativity of others good exposure though

I donÄt know either. Looks like some cooking or baking utensil. Interesting find, but compositionwise dosn't hold much tension or wow factor.
