my first thought before reading the title was lava very cool photo i would have never thought of somet hing like this for this challenge great thinking out-side the box (def an extra pt for that one, but very nice comp and color i think it could be a tad bit brighter just to catch the eye some more great job!

If these really are hot coals, you should have been able to get more light and capture that gorgeous red glow! I do like the detail though.

LOL didn't even think of that and you know, that's the only heating we have in our house, coal stoves and wood stoves. Nice shot.
