 I can remember those ring pulls on the soft drink cans and how annoying it was when the ring snapped off and you had to find some way of opening it.
Plus the hole was way too small to drink out of.
I found this ring pull at the beach and I thought it was a great idea for this topic.

A little more contrast, and perhaps a wider crop may have given the memory of these pull rings found discarded everywhere you looked. Do you recall making chains from them?
Do you remember the pointed can opener we called "Church Keys?"
