 It was so amazing. We' been hiking for what seemed like forEVER! Steep hiking, then you see an opening, and you step out of the trees and are bowled over with a scene like this. I had never snowshoed like that. . .but I hope it won't be the last. The conditions were so perfect. Nice fresh soft powdery snow. No wind. It was GLORIOUS!

Awesome shot Sandy. Just a little advice when shooting in the snow, bump the exposure compensation up about 1/3-2/3 depending on how bright it is. This will take care of the greyness in the scene and leave you with crisp white snow and clouds.
