 This is my first assignment with my new 100mm macro.

Rather windy day but crocuses are close to the ground so that's to my advantage.

Light was coming from the back and I rested my camera on my tripod bag.

More or less no post processing. Slight warming in PS that's all.

I like shallow DOF on floral shots, for the most part, but this needs just a bit more DOF IMO. Too much is OOF in the foreground; I felt like I had to hunt for the focussed part.

I've thought about taking a crocus picture but they seemed boring. You proved me wrong.
