Hmmm, I can't see the forest for the trees, and I'm betting none of them are millions of years old. However, I'll grant you that some of them may be over 100. Lovely shot.

Most nature shots I would consider shoehorned into this challenge, but I like that you went the other way and your pic actually exudes youth. Still, the subject is indeed millions of years old. I like the thought it provokes.

It's quite a lovely image, but my eyes go a bit crazy looking at it. I think the big black stripes don't help, because they just, to me, emphasize the "up and down a lot"-ness of the photo as being.. maybe out of place or wrong somehow? Instead of letting me view the "up and down" nature for what it is. I hope this makes sense! Anyway, it's a really great image - I absolutely love the colors, and the uniqueness of the trees.

This looks like a screensaver! Would have been a stronger image with something to focus the eye on.
