 I was sitting in the Philly airport for a layover and happened to notice Todd Eldridge sitting across from me. I got totally excited and asked for a photo. (Yes, I'm a figure skating nerd.) I didn't even change any of the settings on my camera because I thought he was gonna disappear or something. I don't think it turned out too bad for a quick snap! This is also the only frame I took because I didn't want to be too paparazza. (The vignette was necessary to cover up a lady in a lime-green shirt in the background.)

I didn't know who Todd Eldridge is (in your photo he looks a bit like actor Malcolm Gets). I'd say this is way more than "okay" for a quick snap. Very well done!

I know what you mean about rushing to snap a celebrity and not changing your camera settings -- I did the same thing recently:
  Photographer found comment helpful.
