My little brother died 5 years ago at a young age of 39 of a massive coronary. Amanda was only 5 months old then. Now we have her to love with her beautiful face and my brothers eyes to remind us of his kind heart. She is a true blessing and he lives on through her.

Beautiful child. I think the photo would have been improved with a faster shutter speed. It would have made for a sharper image. Beautiful child.

Not the most creative idea but beautifully simple. Soft focus is good , but just
a tiny bit more sharpening would help some. Your picture fits the theme,
but how about her facing the camera and not 3/4? That way both of Amanda's
eyes would be at the center of your composition. I give it a 7.

Looks like some camera shake there. In low light (low shutter speed), remember to use a tripod especially when you zoom in which it looks like you did here. :)

Was the girl jumping in this picture? It needs to have been more focused...too much movement going on in this picture.

shallower DOF would help a lot. just doesn't look sharp, but it might just be a cheap camera so I won't fault you for that. the red thing (wind chime?) is distracting.

The focus here seems soft. This shot definitely needs a faster shutter speed. Looks like either she was moving, or camera shake.

Love the photo, and the eyes are beautiful. The focus seems a bit soft around her nose and mouth. Might have been better with just the tree behined her, and without the red things. Very nice!

Nice portrait, shame it's so blurry. It looks like camera shake. Nicely exposed.

Very cute little girl and I really like the composition, color and the expression that you captured. There is something odd around her mouth and nose though, almost looks like a double exposure. Camera shake maybe?

You seem to have caught the little girl's spirit nicely here, however the focus seems to be a bit off and the wind chime on the right is distracting. 5

What a cutie. Exceptionally nice lighting, PERFECT focus on the eyes. Very nice pose. There does seem to be some motling in the skin, most likely compression problems (no deduction, but a bit bothersome.) The red and silver objects to the right of the face are a bit of a detractor. But a VERY nice entry nonetheless.

Beautiful subject and composition but just seems a slight bit blurry. Maybe a faster shutter speed would help. It's sometimes hard to get little ones to stay still for very long. :) But overall the colors are nice and she has a very cute expression.

Opps, you got a little movement on this one (I do it all the time), the detail seems to be a bit fuzzy (ghosts). Lovely child, beautiful eyes, nice shot.

This is one of those that pulled me back and made me realize what a great composition it is. Not just a snapshot at all.

Subject is blurred. Great candid, natural look on her face.

lovely looking child, love the look in her eyes, but it's a pity that she moved, so the sharpness is gone.. also the red apples in the background distract the attention from the girl..
