American Indian at Plimoth Plantation No, its spelled right.

She is a story teller, telling the story of her villiage. The stick she is holding contains markings that help tell the story.

Editing steps were basic:
Crop, lightened the shadows through a selective curve adjustment, USM.

I think you lost just a tad by taking her somewhat out of her environment, but you certainly gained a lot by the crop. Good job on brightening her up.

A good solid edit. In viewing the original, I like the inclusion of the kettle, but see that you cropped in part to get rid of the other tourists. If you are comfortable with cloning, you could get rid of them that way and keep more of the original image. This edit, though, brings out the details in her clothing better than the larger image would.

You have brought out the sunshine in this, and I think this tighter crop is better, more intimate.
