One of my memories from my childhood was playing and hiding under the kitchen table. I'd take my favorite toys under there with me and sit there for quite awhile. For some reason, it was comforting, having my father's legs there.

I did the exact same thing......cept I crawled around grabbing people's ankles thinking they didn't know who I was!!!!!!

I do love the perspective here. The angle definitely helps this image and I feel that without the angle, it would have an entirely different feel. The isolation of the foreground is well executed and works with the composition nicely. I like the colors, and the post-processing works for the most part (though, it could be toned down just a tad...)

I particularly like the tilt which gives it a feeling of looking through a child's eyes. Unless that was just your one-hand-held camera tilt.. happens to me all the time, lol. I also love your PP, the detail is amazing, especially the teddy bear! Was that your new software? It's really fantastic. The muted colors are perfect for this. I can't find anything wrong with it. Very very well done, Jamie!!!

LOL...I was crawling under the table and it hurt! I'm getting too old to be on my hands and knees or laying, sprawled on the floor!

I did use a tabletop tripod and I tilted it and kept it straight. For some reason, the angled shots had the most appeal to me as it felt as though it was from the viewpoint of a child rather than a square-on shot.

Topaz makes this look really awesome! I love the details on the bear and the brown rustic like scene of the moment. What a cute idea and story!
