I think this is one of the most under-rated shots in this challenge, IMHO. Personally not crazy about the border but not going to dock points for that (gave 10). Lighting was good, felt like sunset @ the beach. Great DOF/texture to the sand&shells.

This is a nice shot, although it's too dark for "July". It feels more wintery because of the lighting. Nice dof and textures.

love the texture and tones of your shot...the border (black) is just a tad to much...but I like the heavier framing
