 Taken at the 18mm end of the lens. Used a 3-stop GND filter to balance the exposure. Used a 2-stop ND filter to increase exposure time.

RAW Conversion in Lightroom. Noise reduction. Masked curves adjustment layers on the sky, sand and greens. Increased contrast. Cropped to 8:10 aspect ratio. Resize to 720px. Sharpen. Save for web.

Interesting location but not the strongest composition. Perhaps you could have moved lower and closer to those plants on the left to make them your foreground interest against the colours of the sunset. As it is, it looks as if you've tried to include a little bit of everything without focusing on anything in particular. Good luck.

The foreground does little to add to the composition (for me, anyway) except to keep the elements in the rule of thirds placement. The sand could be cropped out entirely imo, or else shoot from a lower perspective near the flowering plants at lower left. The clouds and colors are wonderful.

The change from cool colors on the forground to middle ground, to the warm colors in the background is really beautiful!
