If there wasn't the white blob behind the head, I would have given it a 9. Have to stick with 8--but I do think it's wonderful. Nicely done.

Love Sam's hair! Is that natural or does he have a favorite hair product he uses? Looks so intent. Makes me wonder what has his attention.

Great expression, even better hair. I like the b/w conversion. One thing that would have made this better for me is if the bright thing were not behind the kid's head.

The catchlights don't look real since they are so sharp and the face is soft. He's an adorable boy.
