Apologies for not uploading the detailed info. Here it is.
This is a young Ruby Throated Hummingbird. This was taken in late September when I thought most of the hummingbirds had already moved southward. What a joy it was to find her hanging around my flowers for a good 15 to 20 minutes!

Great capture! I can't tell you how many hours or shutter clicks I've spent on hummingbirds. Keeps me out of trouble, I guess. ;)

He looks like he has his feathers ruffled or is just extremely young; good timing to catch him while in a brief, still moment; I wish the BG was a little less distracting but admittedly you just have to catch these guys where you can; wonder if you could "burn" it a little; maybe those with more experience will have a suggestion; keep up the good work in chasing down these lightning fast creatures. He looks like he needs a hairbrush :) (featherbrush?)

Even more than the hummy I really like the lines in this. The vine just swoops my eye thru' the whole shot, and the splashes of red add both colour and context.

Nicely framed by the vines and leaves. It's so unusual to see one perched; they are usually perpetual motion machines and I am trying desperately to get a clear shot!
