I think you got robbed, but then, my vote was one of your 8's. Need to see about getting one of those wideangles at some time. Helps give those strong perspectives that I like so much.

Thanks for the comments, all. The title was simply a reference to the dead wood that makes up the walkway, leading to the living tree.

Very effective use of tilt. The title conveys an idea that I would not have normally gotten from it, but once read, it is clear.

I have *NO* clue about the title. I like the leading lines and the way they trail off just seems to evoke a natural tilt. Well done. 8

Nice perspective, draws the eye to the end, where it's rewarded with a lovely tree. Great textures in the wood railing. Not sure if the tilt adds anything "extra".
