 This was really a last minute submission. My oldest daughter actually came up with the idea and I wanted to put it in for her. She's always giving me ideas and I wanted to suprise her with this one. I like how it turned out, but I am sure there is going to be some serious competition in this challenge. I would be very please with anything close to a six.

When she woke up last Monday morning I showed it to her and the smile was ear to ear. I could have gotten a 2 on this shot and it would have been worth that reaction.

She did ask me all week how it was scoring. It was above a six most of the time, so she was happy.

beatuiful paper flower, i like your lighting and the dark background. only little problem i have with this is the whites blown out on the top petals

Nice border and interesting angle. Wasn't sure if the angle worked for me but after looking at it a bit, it does. Flower petals aren't the same all the way around, and why should these be (the petals). The lighting, background and border are great. 8 = good composition, techs and meeting the challenge.

really like the stars/flowers...they are cool...almost cut the tip off the lower left star/flower. nice focus...good framing
